Letter of protest sent to Paterson, NJ library

ABFFE joined several important anti-censorship groups in protest over the Paterson, N.J. library’s new policy that bans patrons from playing certain video games. The letter noted that the Supreme Court has ruled that video games are protected speech under the First Amendment. It also states ” that it is not the duty of librarians to babysit patrons” nor to police them. The library has yet to respond.

The entire letter can be read here.
